Common Occurrence

Postby Mackenzie Sober 2E » Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:05 pm

Cyclopropane and cyclobutane molecules are not commonly found, does that just mean that once they are formed they are more likely to immediately bond with some other molecule?

I think it has something to do with the fact that they are not stable molecules, especially for cyclopropane because it has a large bond angle strain and torsional strain. Hope this helps! (Page 108 of course reader)
