If I have 6 mols of Cl in a molecule, how many atoms does that convert to? Do we multiply 6 by Avogadro's number?

Yes you would multiply 6 by Avogadro's number so it would be 6 mol C x (6x6.022x10^23atoms/mol) which comes out to be 2.17x10^25 atoms.
