3D Conformations

Postby Nicole Filbert 1D » Sat Mar 12, 2016 6:35 pm

If asked on the final to draw the most stable conformation or the boat conformation, do we have to draw it in 3D with a small shading part?

You do not have to use 3D shading, but you must identify and label "boat" or "chair" where and when appropriate and draw a structure that clearly shows the structure. You are not being graded on artistic ability, but rather on presenting solutions clearly. Follow the examples of correct responses from homework solutions or final exam solutions.
