Intro to Black Body

Is the black body an equation of concept? Sorry, I'm a little bit confused about this type of radiation.

From what I understand, since it cannot actually exist, the equation is conceptual. It is an object that absorbs all radiation and this is related to temperature.

Hi, so Professor Lavelle from lecture said that it was a conceptual, there is no perfect black body, however, sometimes you can use that has sufficient black body charachteritics which are the substance (black body) absorbs all frequencies of light, then reemits all the light it originally absorbed. Overall it is simply theoretical since the perfect black body does not exist. Hope this helps!
