Black Body Radiation and Planck's Constant
Hi! So, if I am correct, then Black Body radiation is the radiation emitted from a heated black body and I understand its relation to quanta, but from there I do not understand how it all connects to Planck's Constant, if someone can please explain.

Re: Black Body Radiation and Planck's Constant
Hello,
Planck's constant can be used to measure the wave lengths of the radiation emitted and the energy of a photon at that wavelength.
Hope this helps

Re: Black Body Radiation and Planck's Constant
So we know that planck's expression for blackbody radiation is E=nhf. Where n value results in quantization because it can only be a integer, so the resulting energy (E)will comprise a set of allowed values. Quantization and Planck's constant were proposed but it allowed for the accurate prediction of the distribution of blackbody radiation since it matched with the observation. Hope this answers your question!
