What is an example of black body radiation? Does it occur naturally or can it only be found in laboratory settings?

You probably wouldn't be able to find a "perfect" black body except in a laboratory setting because it would need to absorb and emit ALL radiation. Examples of a general black body would be the sun, a furnace, lightbulb, etc.

A black body absorbs all the EM radiation (light) that contacts it. To stay in thermal equilibrium, it must also emit radiation at the same rate as it absorbs (black body radiation).

To repeat what I said several times in class: We are not covering black body radiation, we didn't cover black body radiation, and I did not assign any homework problems on black body radiation.
