### Black Bodies and Temperature

Why is it that as the temperature of a black body increases, the wavelength at which the max intensity is found decreases?

As the temperature of the black body increases, the frequency of the light that causes that temperature increases as well. In other words, frequency is proportional to energy of a certain radiation. However, wavelength and frequency have an inverse proportional relationship, so as the frequency of the radiation increase, the wavelength of that radiation decreases.

i think WHAT happens was explained, but i am still not understanding exactly WHY the temperature is seen to increase. Can anyone explain to me in a different light what is going on here?
