Problem 1.B.1 states:
The total intensity of radiation emitted from a black body at absolute temperature T is directly proportional to the temperature. Why is this statement false?

Questions regarding black body radiation were not assigned because they are outside the scope of this course.

Even though this is not required knowledge, in the book it states that the total intensity of radiation emitted over all wavelengths increases as the fourth power of the absolute and is shown in the Stefan-Boltzmann law and is usually written as
Total intensity = constant X T^4
