Ludwig Boltzmann law midterm question

Postby 105194078 » Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:30 pm

I don't recall if Lavelle said that this was going to be on the exam? Should I worry about learning how to use this? It was technically in section 1B but I'm still kind of concerned whether I have to know how to use this equation

I don't know the answer for sure, but I would go based on whether or not it was used in one of the homework questions, then there's a chance it could be on the exam. And if you have some time to learn, I don't think it would hurt to go over it. Sorry this isn't a definite answer.

I think you should have a general idea of what black body radiation is, however I don't think we will be tested on the law.

I could be wrong so confirm this with your TA but i think the only thing you need to know is what is black body radiation conceptually
