Book Example 1.8:
This example goes over "Calculating the energies of a particle in a box". Would we need to know how to do something like this on the test?

The test material should conclude with the material gone over this Friday, with Shrodinger's equation. The website's announcements specifies that the test will be based up onto the end of week 3.

Dr. Lavelle said that we do not need to know how to do any calculations with Schrodinger's Equation. He just wants us to have a conceptual idea of the wave model. Calculations won't be on the test.

I believe Schrodinger's equation was just gone over for us to have a conceptual understanding, but I do not believe we will have calculations based on it.
