Schrodinger's Equation
Can someone please further explain what Schrodinger's Equation is used for exactly. I'm still unsure.

Schrodinger’s equation is used for the Uncertainty Principle. It is used to find the energy levels of the QM systems.

What is Schrodinger's equation? I understand what it does from that, but what is the difference in what this equation does from DeBroglies wave equation and Heisnebergs indeterminacy equation?

Schrodinger's equation: a very complicated equation that describes the wave function of an atom and thus created quantum mechanics.
De Broglie's wave equation: tells you the wavelength given off by any moving particle with momentum (mass and velocity).
Heisenberg's indeterminacy equation: says that both the position and velocity cannot be measured exactly (if you know the position, you can't know velocity).

How does the wave function of an atom convert to quantum mechanics and how does whatever value Schrodinger's equation gives you convert to the wave function of an atom?

The Schrodinger equation determines the probability amplitude, which is related to the probability, of a certain system being in a certain state. This eigenvalue equation relates a certain state of a system to its corresponding energy, relative to the other levels of the system. It often takes a wave equation that describes the quantum system as a set of probabilities. Generally speaking, you solve for the wave equation, which gives you the state of the system, from the observable characteristics of the system; the total energy that you measure the system as having.

Is the Schrodinger equation typically used to find the wavefunction itself or the total energy (kinetic + potential) of the wavefunction? Do observations reveal the total energy and allow the wavefunction to be derived from it?

Yeah I am unsure about when this equation would be used or calculations associated with it?
