On his website, it also says that the midterm will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 6th. So it will not be held during lecture I guess.

There is only one midterm, one final and 2 test. You can find this all out in the syllabus and the midterm schedule too in which it has been mentioned, the first one is held on November 6.

As stated on the syllabus there are 2 tests, 1 midterm, and 1 final. We have already taken one test. The midterm is on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-8 pm. Test 2 is starting Tuesday, November 19 in discussion session. The final is Sunday, December 8 from 11:30 am-2:30 pm.

Also note that there are different test rooms for each lecture class, for those reading this post, look at the pdf on the Chem 14A page, and you will see which room you are in according to last names.

I'm going to need to do well on those tests after that midterm!

Honestly besides doing well on the final, I just gotta hope that curve at the end is really generous for the overall grade.

Will we ever have to calculate the full shrodinger equation for a test?

Let's hope this isn't on the final
