Hi could someone explain the bullet "Understand the relationship between Schrodinger's equation (H ψ = E ψ), wave functions, and orbitals" to me? I'm not sure how much we need to know for the final.

I discuss the Schrodinger equation in class so that students know where orbitals come from.
Orbitals are wave functions (math functions) that give the correct energy for electrons in different states (different orbitals/different wave functions).

I did not assign problems using the Schrodinger equation as that is beyond the level of general chemistry.
