Topic 1C

I did not see Topic 1C homework problems in the syllabus. Does this mean we do not have to know the stuff on that part for any tests?

I believe we do need to know 1C. On the syllabus, it says to read Appendix 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E. So we should probably know it if we were expected to read it.

For the Quantum World? Where it says to "Omit 1C and Table 1D.1"? I'm just wondering because En =((h^2)(n^2))/(8 m L^2) is an equation that is in the Constant and Equations sheet on the website, but Appendix 1C is about scientific notation, I mean Topic 1C on page 23 because we were also not assigned any hw problems from there and have not used that equation as far as I remember.

I don't think we need to know the material from Topic 1C. He did not talk about most of the information from that section.
