What is the best method to approach when balancing equation? Ex: start with smallest largest quantity of elements? I have trouble knowing where to start and I end up overthinking the whole problem in the end, just need a couple pointers.

Hi!

The way that works best for me is the following… I will also attach a picture
1. First I draw a line in the middle
2. Then, I list the names and number of the elements you are involved
3. Then you balance the metals, non-metals, and lastly hydrogen and oxygen

It really takes lots of practice! Hope this helps!
