Problem H7d Clarification (Catalysts & Common Compounds)

Postby Ariel Fern 2B » Sun Oct 06, 2019 8:21 pm

Hey everyone! Just had some quick clarifications about a certain problem: it states that there is a presence of a copper metal catalyst; on the test/exams, would we have to include the catalyst above the arrow of the reaction? Just want to be safe! Also, this problem mentions ammonia gas, which is NH3; however, I almost put down NH4 for ammonium instead... Do you know of any common compounds, like ammonia, that I should review before the test, or will all the molecular formulas be given on the test? Thanks so much!

I had the same question regarding if we have to memorize polyatomic ions, my TA said that they will most likely give us the molecular formulas. But I might review them just because I'm paranoid!

Hope this helps!
