For the 2-butanone 1-bromopropane magnesium reaction, I googled each of the reactant/product formulas so I could have the reaction written out for my homework.
I was just wondering why the product has no bromine nor magnesium in it?

In this problem the bromine and magnesium were probably omitted because bromine wasn't the limiting reagent and we didn't need it for the question it asked so I think they just left it off/left the reaction incomplete.

Bromine and Magnesium are effectively waste products in this equation. I think they're trying to see if we can understand limiting reactants more abstractly which is why the format of the question is so weird with the pictures and the incomplete products. It was a tough one!

My TA said not to worry about it. She said it was a poorly set up question but we did not have to worry about those parts

Given the structure of each molecule, you are also able to figure out the molecular formulas from them! A general rule of thumb is that each question that Lavelle gives should have all the information necessary to solve it (no google allowed during tests)! Each corner of the molecule will be a Carbon and each Carbon has 4 valence electrons, meaning it will have 4 total bonds. Any free C electrons will have a Hydrogen attached. Therefore you can count the Carbons, Hydrogens, and any other elements to come up with the molecular formula!
