What is the difference between a structural isomer and a stereoisomer?

Structural isomers have the same molecular formula, but different atom arrangements within the molecule. Stereoisomers have the same molecular formula and same atom arrangement.

Structural isomers and stereoisomer are molecules that contain the same molecular formula but differ in the arrangement of atoms. Structural isomers have different connectivity in atoms and stereoisomers have the same connectivity but have different spatial arrangement of atoms.
