Stereochemistry refers to the spatial arrangement of atoms. It involves isomerism--stereoisomerism, constitutional isomerism. If you would like I can send you a powerpoint I made on the subject! :)

Are we expected to know stereochemistry for the final?

Stereochemistry deals with the spatial arrangement of atoms and groups in a compound and its relation to the properties of the compound.

I haven't seen stereochemistry on any of the review documents, so I don't think that we will need to know it.

The only time I ever herd this mentioned was in an earlier lecture where he mentioned it. However, I might have it mixed up with another word, but I thought it was this one.
