How do stereoisomers differ from geometrical isomers? The definitions sound very similar.

You do not need to know this for 14A. This is more 14C and D material

According to my studying, while both stereoisomers and geometric isomers involve differences in spatial arrangement, stereoisomers encompass a broader range of spatial differences, including those that arise due to freely rotating single bonds as well as those that arise due to fixed arrangements around double bonds or ring structures.
