Chiral complexes and enantiomers

If a complex is chiral, does it mean that it has to have an enatiometric pair?

The mirror image of a chiral complex plus the original complex make up an enantiomeric pair. Your question is the same as does one always have a pair of gloves? One could have only the right hand glove, but if you made the left hand glove then you would have a pair.

Yes, if a complex is chiral, it means that it has an enantiomeric pair. Chirality in chemistry refers to a property where a molecule or a complex cannot be superimposed on its mirror image. When a molecule or complex is chiral, it exists in two forms which are mirror images of each other
