What is the Crystal Field Theory, what is it's significant, and do you guys think this will be on the final?

Crystal Field Theory is a model for the bonding interactions between transition metals and ligands. However, I'm fairly sure this topic is not in the Learning Outcomes Outline, so you shouldn't expect to encounter it on the final.

I would definitely double-check on Lavelle's website if you're not sure, though.
