PV=nRT

Hypothetically, when using PV=nRT, can you use it along with MV=MV? I know that sometimes you cannot use certain equations given their circumstances.

i think you might not be able to use them since PV=nRT is for gas and m1v1=m2v2 is for liquid solutions - not 100% sure though

I agree. I think that you can only transfer formulas if they are the same state of matter.

If you were trying to find the volume you would simply multiply P to both sides and end up with Charles's law (aka law of volumes).
