It just depends what is given for gases, but you want all of the species in the reaction to be in either concentration or partial pressure form, not a combination of the two. However, either one will work. Hope that helps!

Our TA said something about learning to write it in bar but i dont think its required to do so. maybe that is just easier for some people

K values of gas phase reactants and products can be solved as either Kp or Kc, depending on what is given. However, k values for aqueous reactants and products can only be written in Kc.

If they give you barr and a volume that is not 1.0L is that volume significant? As in, do we need to change the barr by dividing it by volume?
