In a sealed container, when a gas and its liquid form are at equilibrium, vapor pressure is the pressure of the gas above the liquid.

When the gas and liquid states are at equilibrium, the pressure of the gas is known as the vapor pressure.

For vapor pressure, what environmental factors can influence how much of a substance will vaporize? Does pressurizing the gas affect that in any way?
