### Aqueous Solutions

Was doing a weird question in the textbook and know that solids and liquids are omitted, but what about aqueous? Does it get included or excluded when solving for K or Q?

### Re: Aqueous Solutions

I believe aqueous solutions are included in equilibrium constant concentrations.

### Re: Aqueous Solutions

Aqueous solutions are included in the calculation as they affect the concentration and would then affect the calculation of K/Q.

i believe aqueous solutions are included only pure liquids like H20 are excluded.

### Re: Aqueous Solutions

It is correct that solids and liquids are omitted from equilibrium constant concentrations. Aqueous solutions are included in the calculations.
