I don't think you have to memorize it, as it will be on the constants and equation sheet provided on the class website (the one that goes PV=nRT), although I think it'll help a lot to have it and its derivations memorized so you can recall them quickly. Hope this helped!

Hi! Since it's on our equation sheet, I don't think it is necessary to memorize.

I would advise you to memorize what each variable stands for. For example n= moles. Also to remember what each variables units should be... If temperature is given in Celsius it should be converted to Kelvin. If you're given an elements mass, convert it to moles.

It's on the equation sheet so I don't think you need to memorize, but I'd memorize the unit for each of the variable.

Since the equation is on the constants and equations sheet given to us, it isn't 100% necessary to memorize, but rather be able to quickly understand what the ideal gas law reveals about the relationships between different variables. For example, we learned in a lecture that through rearranging the ideal gas law we can find the relationship between concentration (n/v) to pressure and temperature. We also just need to know how to plug in values into the equation, such as which value of R to use depending on the unit of pressure being used. Also remembering to always convert temperature to Kelvin for use in the ideal gas law equation.

While the formula is on the formula sheet, I would still advise memorizing it. It is a very important equation, and knowing it on the fly would help with a variety of questions.

Hi, I do not think you need to memorize it, but understanding what the equation means and how you can modify it to get a certain answer, such as finding molar concentration, is important.

I don't think we have to memorize the actual equation, as it is on the equations sheet, but it is important to know what each variable represents.

The equation is on our equation sheet for exams so it is probably not necessary to memorize it, but it would be helpful to familiarize yourself with it.

There is no need to memorize it, as it is listed on the equation sheet. Just know how the variables are related and the physical meaning behind them.

You don’t really need to memorize it, but it might be helpful if you do. It’s not very hard to memorize (PV=nRT), but it is on our equation sheet.

You can find it in the constants and equations sheet so no need to memorize

The ideal gas equation is on the equation constant sheet, so memorizing it isn't necessary.

The ideal gas equation is on the equation sheet, so it doesn't need to be memorized. It would be helpful, though, to remember the ways you can manipulate the equation to find concentration.

I don't think memorizing the ideal gas equation is necessary, but it certainly is very useful to understand what each variable represents and its units. Doing so makes the equation easier to manipulate to derive other equations from it such as work for reversible and irreversible expansion or to find other values like concentration.

It is on our equation sheet so I don't think it's necessary but It would be good to know and understand the variables
