How does Intermolecular forces relate to boiling point, can the type of IMF tell us if the boiling point is high?

The stronger the IMF, the higher the boiling point. In simple terms, a stronger interaction will be harder to break apart which is how a molecule changes from one state to another. By comparing weaker and stronger IMFS, you can also compare the molecule's supposed boiling points.
