Distinctions between intermolecular forces

Postby ian_haliburton_1f » Fri Nov 23, 2018 11:22 am

Will we need to know the nuances of what distinguishes induced dipole induced dipole, London dispersion force and Van Der Waals force? They were grouped together in the lecture.

Those three forces are used interchangeably.

All those intermolecular forces are the same, so you should be able to name that force with whichever name.
