Explain the difference in the boiling points of NO2 (21 celsius) and N20 (-88 celsius)

N2O is linear while NO2 is bent, and so the latter is a polar molecule. Due to this, NO2 IMF's are stronger, and therefore would have a higher boiling point

The shape affects the type and strength of forces in the molecules. Because NO2 is polar, it has dipole-dipole interactions rather than just London forces, and these stronger forces make the boiling point higher

NO2- would have a bent molecular shape, preventing its dipoles from cancelling. N20 would be linear, causing its dipoles to cancel. Thus, NO2- has dipole-dipole interactions, which are stronger than the LDF that N20 only has.

Yes, the stronger the forces, the more energy is needed to vaporize them, therefore, the stronger the forces the higher the boiling point.
