hydrogen bonding

Postby Savannah Mance 4G » Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:55 pm

I'm kind of confused as to when a molecule has hydrogen bonding. Like, is hydrogen bonding present whenever there is a hydrogen in the molecule?

It's that, but when it's bonded to Fluorine, Oxygen, Sulfur, and nitrogen.

Hydrogen bonding can occur between molecules of the same substance, or with molecules of other substances, just as long as the H atoms are bonding with N, O, or F atoms.

hydrogen can occur is there is a H in one molecule and there is any one of O,N,F in the other
