Hi guys!
Can someone let me know the order of intermolecular interactions from weakest to strongest?
I get them confused a lot of times.
Thanks!

To add onto that, it's ion-ion>ion-dipole (just to be more specific about the ionic bonds)

Covalent bonds are intrAmolecular forces! That exist within the molecule!

Here's the list of intermolecular forces in the order of increasing strength (from weakest to strongest):
- LDF (induced dipole-induced dipole)
- dipole-induced dipole
- dipole-dipole
- ion-dipole
- hydrogen bonding
- ion-ion
- LDF (induced dipole-induced dipole)
- dipole-induced dipole
- dipole-dipole
- ion-dipole
- hydrogen bonding
- ion-ion

I wasn't sure if hydrogen bonding or ion-dipole was stronger, thank you for this list!
