Viscosity

What are the molecular factors that influence viscosity and how do they contribute to the flow behavior of a liquid?

I believe viscosity is mainly controlled by the intermolecular forces present in a solution. In this sense, liquids that are more polar and/or can form hydrogen bonds are able to form dipole-dipole and/or hydrogen bonds which are relatively strong intermolecular forces and would definitely make the solution more viscous than with just nonpolar substances would need to rely on induced-dipole/induced-dipole forces. Something like honey would have very high viscosity as the intermoleucle forces are stronger than something like water has low viscosity since it flows easier due to the smaller size of water molecules.

Other factors that affect Viscosity is temperature, pressure, and how fast a liquid can be deformed
