How do intermolecular forces influence the viscosity of a liquid?

Hi! Intermolecular bonds like van Der Waals, dipole, and hydrogen can all make a liquid more viscous, as the molecules will be more densely packed. Heat can break these bonds, and resultantly cause viscous liquids to thin.
