A System at Constant Volume

Postby Noor_Burney_1L » Sat Jan 14, 2017 11:13 pm

Is a system at constant volume an open, closed, or isolated system?

I think it depends on what the specific question tells you.

All three of these systems have constant volume, but the only system of the three that can experience a change in volume would be the open system.

Closed and isolated systems are always at constant volume whereas an open system may experience a change in volume.
