I'm pretty sure the quizzes are not curved, but I think the class will be curved depending on how well the class does.

Each quiz and exam are worth a certain amount of points (I think altogether you can get up to ~400 points total throughout the quarter), but the quizzes/tests/grades are not curved until the end of the quarter. I believe it is explained in syllabus/front of the course reader.

Today in class he did say Quiz 1 would be compensated for by not marking off for sig figs and units
