I believe this means that energy transfers are efficient and there is no energy transfer in the form of heat.

yeah, i think the ideal cooler means that there is no heat transfer between the system and the surroundings.

I agree, I think that the idea with this and the inclusion of the word "ideal" alludes to the fact that this "cooler" works very well, such that the system can be acknowledged as isolated.

Ideal means no heat or matter transfer between system and surroundings, so the system is isolated.

The "ideal" cooler does not exchange heat or matter with the surroundings and system.
