isolated system after time

Postby Tia Tomescu 2D » Wed Mar 14, 2018 10:30 pm

If an isolated system contained +100 kJ of energy, after 100 years why will the internal energy be 0? (UA workshop week 2 question 3)

The change in internal energy would be zero for it is an isolated system.

The change in internal energy (delta U) for an isolated system is always 0 because no work is done on/by the system and no heat leaves/enters the system.
