Reversible reaction

Whats an irreversible and reversible expansion?
im confused with these two definitions.

In a reversible reaction, the reactants can for the products and the products can also produce the reactants.

In an IRreversible reaction, once the products are formed through reactions they cannot form the reactants because they are reacting to form other products.

Also, for irreversible reactions, they completely go to products where they do not revert to the reactants

Here are the formulas:

"Fixed" or irreversible reactions has a constant external pressure: w=-P*deltaV
Reversible and isothermal reactions that has a changing pressure: w=-nRTln(V2/V1)
