I don't think we will have to necessarily to memorize any equation, since anything we will need will be given to us on the constants and formula sheets, but maybe memorize the units for something like entropy or enthalpy to help see what equation to use.

I would focus on connecting the equations to each other because they will all be on the equation sheet. Know the main equation for enthalpy and entropy, then focus on manipulating the variables for each when needed. Basically, focus more on when to use what, not memorizing the formula itself.

I would personally focus on practical application instead of rote memorization.
Most of the equations we need are on the formula sheet. The rest can be (almost) always be derived.

The Cv for diatonic molecules is Cv = 5/2 R. I know they gave the Cv for a monatomic molecule.

understanding conceptually what is happening and recognizing what the question is asking is probably a better approach for studying overall, since most of the equations will be on the formula sheet, as long as you understand when and how to use the equations, that will be more beneficial to you
