State Property vs Function

Postby Alice Chang 2H » Sun Feb 02, 2020 4:10 pm

Is there a difference between state property vs state function?
I remember both being used in lecture, but are they the same thing/concept?

a state function is a property of something that depends on the current state, where a state property is a quantity independent of any states. I hope this helps. :)

what I understood was that they are the same thing but you just use different terms when discussing it conceptually or in context!!
