Isolated System
Are there any resources or lecture videos that could explain an isolated thermodynamic system?

it was mentioned in lecture 10 but if you want more detailed information textbook would be better

I agree with the above poster. Here's also a summary of information:
An isolated system cannot exchange neither matter nor energy with surroundings; for example, tea inside a thermos. You cannot spill tea from it when it is closed, and you cannot put tea into it either. There is also no heat escaping from or going into the thermos.

Hi! Dr. Lavelle did talk about isolated systems in one of his lectures, but an isolated system is essentially a system where no heat/energy or matter is exchanged with its surroundings.
