Achieve Question 9

I'm kind of confused as to how I am suppose to start solving this problem, am I suppose to use PV=nRT? or q=MCAT

Hi,

So here we say that the heat gained by the cold water = to the heat lost by the hot water
qcold water = -qhot water
so
mCspΔT= -(mCspΔT)

mCsp(Tfinal - Tinitial)= -(mCsp(Tfinal - Tinitial))

note that the specific heat (Csp) of water is 4.184J/g°C

Now you have to plug all you know in this equation and find Tfinal.
