What are some of the most commonly referenced examples of open, closed, and isolated systems?

a pot without a lid on a stove is an example of a common open system, while a pot with a lid is an example of a closed system. an isolated system could be something like a thermos

An open system would be a beaker of water, where matter and energy can exchange with the surroundings.
A closed system would be a sealed beaker of water, where only energy can exchange with the surroundings.
In an isolated system, such as a bomb calorimeter, neither matter nor energy can exchange with the surroundings.
