Which does more work?

Which system does more work, isothermal or reversible? And can someone explain why? I know he mentioned it many times in lecture but I am still confused.

I am also confused with this. I think it may be reversible systems that do more work but I am not sure.

In class the isothermal examples were all irreversible. Reversible reactions are always do the maximum work because they are done more slowly (infinitely slow) and less heat is lost to the surroundings.

Reversible reactions always do more work since they are infinitesimal reactions happening so it can do a maximum amount of work.
