At constant pressure, q (heat) equals delta H (the change in enthalpy).

qp is equal to delta h when a system is at constant pressure, so no nonexpansion work is being done.

qp I think is the heat in a reaction under constant pressure and delta H is the change in enthalpy. Therefore, in a system, given ideal gasses, the heat is equal to a change in enthalpy.

Delta H can be used in the equation U=q+w for q when there is constant pressure, but you still will need to account for w, which is PdeltaV for irreversible expansion.
