Modeling Isobaric and Isochoric Systems

How would we model an isobaric system? I understand that an isobaric system has constant pressure, but how would the volume be changing if the pressure is constant? In the case of a cylinder with the piston, does the constant pressure refer to the pressure exerted by the piston and would we be seeing the piston moving in response to the work of the gas due to changes in the pressure exerted by the gas?

And for the isochoric system, would we be assuming that the piston is in a fixed position due to the pressure exerted by it increasing as the gas pressure rises so the gas is unable to move the piston and therefore performs no work?
