So for adiabatic systems, will q ALWAYS equal 0?

Hi Ian Morris 3C! Yes! You are correct! In an adiabatic system, there is no heat transfer between the system and surroundings, so heat can't be added or released to/by the system. Thus, q will always be 0. I hope this helps!

Yes. q will always equal 0 for an adiabatic system because of the nature of the conditions. Heat is not allowed to transfer between the system and its surroundings, which is exactly what q measures! So, its value in adiabatic systems will always be zero.
