Isochoric/isometric
Is there any meaningful difference between the term isochoric and isometric? When should we use one or the other?
Re: Isochoric/isometric
An isochoric process, also called a constant-volume process, an isovolumetric process, or an isometric process, is a thermodynamic process during which the volume of the closed system undergoing such a process remains constant.

Re: Isochoric/isometric
They pretty much mean the same thing, and that the process it describes is constant volume.
Re: Isochoric/isometric
Isochoric process = constant volume and isometric means the same thing as isochoric.

Re: Isochoric/isometric
Both are interchangeable, just use what you prefer. They both refer to a constant volume within the process.
