Re: isochoric
Based on just definitions, isochoric means constant volume while isometric is having equal dimensions. I hope this helps.

Re: isochoric
Isochoric means to have constant volume while isometric means having the same dimensions.

Re: isochoric
Isochoric means constant volume throughout the process, where isometric means the measurements and dimensions stay constant throughout the process.

Re: isochoric
Isochoric involves constant volumes while isometric just means the dimensions/measurements are constant.

Isochoric: value of volume is constant
Isometric: measurements are constant

Re: isochoric
Isochoric means to have constant volume throughout the entire process (v= 0). For an isochoric reaction, delta U = qv.
An isometric reaction means having the same dimensions.
An isometric reaction means having the same dimensions.

Re: isochoric
The difference between isochoric and isometric is in their definition. Isochoric means there is no change in volume or that it has a constant volume. Isometric, on the other hand means that it has the same dimensions. I believe both terms can be used interchangeably.
